Position Scope: 

Our client is a leading digital publishing and media investment company that owns and operates over 25 authoritative brands across diverse verticals, including entertainment, sports, technology, automotive, gaming, lifestyle and travel. Since their inception they have grown globally, and now have offices around the world. 

 

 

As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the acquisition strategy and execution to fuel their next phase of growth. You’ll manage the monthly advertising budget, set and exceed revenue targets, and ensure consistently positive ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). This role involves full-funnel ownership — from planning and optimizing the user acquisition flow, to account management with external buyers, to overseeing campaign performance and iterating for improved efficiency. You’ll work cross-functionally with analytics, creative, product and sales teams to ensure each campaign scales profitably and aligns with broader business goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage and optimize the monthly media budget across channels (search, social, YT, display, mobile) with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Set, monitor and exceed ROAS targets; regularly report performance against budget and goal.
  • Own the user acquisition funnel: define target audiences, streamline conversion paths, run A/B tests, refine targeting and creative to improve efficiency.
  • Lead account management with buyer partners: monitor delivery, ensure adherence to KPIs, and expand relationships where possible.
  • Drive revenue growth by hitting and exceeding monthly/quarterly targets, identifying new channels or tactics and scaling what works.
  • Collaborate with analytics and product teams to track user behaviour, attribute conversion to campaigns, and apply insights to refine the acquisition strategy.
  • Build dashboards and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting wins, learnings, and next-steps for optimization.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, emerging platforms and performance marketing best practices; be prepared to test new channels and iterate rapidly.
Requirements and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experiencing managing a budget directly. 
  • Proven track record of growing net revenue year over year.
