Respect RX – A Pharmacy Focused on Providing Respect Based Services to the Most Vulnerable Members of our Communities. They are a growing community-based Pharmacy Group who specializes in a personal approach with their patients.

 

Position Scope

Working in Ottawa, the Pharmacist will provide specialized care for patients dealing with substance abuse and mental health challenges. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting recovery, improving medication adherence, and fostering positive outcomes through compassionate care.  Respect RX has four locations in Ottawa and one in Cornwall.

 

Responsibilities

  • Dispense and manage medications for substance use disorders (e.g., methadone, buprenorphine) and mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and mental health professionals to create personalized care plans.
  • Educate patients on the safe use of medications and provide ongoing support for treatment adherence.
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients, treating each individual with empathy, dignity, and respect.
  • Monitor patient progress and address medication-related concerns to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Stay up to date with best practices for addiction and mental health treatments.

 

 

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
  • Experience or interest in substance abuse and mental health care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with patients compassionately. 

 

This position pays $60.00 to $65.00 per hour +.
