Position Scope:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Engineer to join our team at the Belvidere, New Jersey site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing chemical processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Process Development and Optimization: Design, implement, and refine chemical processes to convert raw materials into high-quality products efficiently and safely.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to safety protocols and comply with environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety assessments and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development, to ensure seamless process integration and product quality.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within the production process to minimize downtime and maintain product standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of process designs, modifications, and performance metrics. Prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in chemical engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Requirements & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in process engineering within the chemical or related industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software and a solid understanding of chemical process design and control.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
